About LRC

.LRC is a file format which contains song lyrics in text format that, with the help of timestamps, syncs with the song when played. The file does not contain the audio track itself and not all MP3-players or media player softwares supports LRC. The LRC filename should have the same name as the audio file to be played. More info can be found here.

MiniLyrics is a third-party lyrics plugin software that automatically plays LRC-files in sync with the music when played in media player softwares. Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, Foobar2000, and VLC media player are only a few of the many supported media player programs. Download MiniLyrics here.

Note: It's not been possible to upload LRC-files to MiniLyrics' servers since late 2019. However, you can still download any LRC-files that have been uploaded in the past. Most of the older LRC-files that can be downloaded on this blog have already been uploaded to MiniLyrics by me (Sabi). Newer ones must be downloaded from this blog (via MediaFire).

About this blog

Saving lyrics and creating LRC-files has been my hobby for more than a decade. I started creating LRC-files back in 2012 when I learned about MiniLyrics and that my SONY WALKMAN NWZ-E453 portable media player could display lyrics using LRC-files. My collection was starting to grow a lot, so I decided to create this blog to share the stuff I had. I also noticed that there was no lyrics site dedicated to my (at the time) favorite VOCALOID music producers, and since I had come across lots of DECO*27 lyrics that hadn't been romanized yet, I wanted to share!

So far, I've created over 1300 LRC-files and I make new ones whenever I feel like it. My main goal was to provide with lyrics to as many DECO*27, OneRoom, wowaka, papiyon, HSP, and 40mP songs available, especially the ones that are hard to find elsewhere. For this I had to do lots of research and googling to find lyrics to their lesser known songs. I've only managed to almost complete a few of those collections. However, I sadly don't intend to continue expanding on the remaining ones as I don't follow those producers anymore.

I don't take requests as I'm now prioritizing the songs I personally want to make LRC-files for, which nowadays is mostly music created by Clean Tears, Bernis, Mwk, Spacelectro, and other J-EDM producers. I unfortunately don't have as much time to make LRC-files as I used to. I apologize for this but I also hope you understand.

I try to update this blog on a regular basis, so check back again for more!

I use modified hepburn romanization with macron for double/long vowels and I use the right English/foreign words when they are transcripted in hiragana or katakana. As I think it looks cleaner this way, I prefer this kind of romanization even though it might result in phonetic inaccuracy at times.
